One of the many projects we work on is automating processes for wineries and other facilities using fermentation to produce award winning products. Our customer who hired Placer Process for wine fermentation automation was planning on using studies by their educational entity to create a scale representation of a med to large scale production plant. This allows for valuable learnings to be tested and proven in a real world setting before being scaled up to a large facility.
Placer Process was able to work with our customer to design, fabricate, and install a wine fermentation tank with automated controls and monitoring. Utilizing modern technology our customer was able to enjoy a system that provided valuable monitoring of the Brix and controls to make adjustments as needed.
