Current Positions Available
Skilled Pipe Fitters and Welders
Responsibilities:
Applicants must be skilled in fabrication and installation of sanitary process systems and must be available to work in our Roseville fabrication facility as well as field installation projects at various locations throughout the country.
Position requires:
- Successful background screening
- Fitters must have layout / fabrication experience and the ability to work from assembly drawings
- Welders must be skilled in the TIG welding process and welding procedures involved with sanitary piping systems as well as stainless steel frame and structural fabrication
- Successful completion of ability and written tests
- Experience with “Good Manufacturing Practices” in food and beverage production facilities is a plus.
Standard work-week is 40 to 60 hours with occasional weekend work. Placer Process Systems, Inc. offers starting wages at $19 - $28 / hr. determined by experience, and benefit packages for permanent employees after a 180-day employment period. Chemical Engineer (Roseville)
Responsibilities:
Placer Process Systems, Inc. is a General Engineering Contractor seeking a Chemical Engineer to provide design support at our office in Roseville and customers' manufacturing facilities. Work will be focused on food, beverage, and dairy process equipment and supporting utilities. The engineer will assist in the selection of equipment, flow modeling, heat transfer calculations, P&ID development, equipment lists, AutoCAD drawings, support for equipment start-up, and validation of process systems. The engineer will be responsible for the implementation of small scale projects including preparation of project scope, budget, proposal preparation, and support of field installation. Expected travel time will be 15%. Candidates must have a BS in Chemical Engineering. Experience in a GMP environment is a plus. CAD Designer (Roseville)
Responsibilities:
Placer Process Systems, Inc. is a General Engineering Contractor seeking a CAD Designer to provide design support at our office in Roseville and customers' manufacturing facilities. Work will be focused on food, beverage, and dairy process equipment and supporting utilities. The CAD Designer will assist engineering in the preparation of process P&IDs, assembly drawings, and site layout drawings. Additional duties will include maintaining the CAD library, purchasing, tracking of materials, and support for equipment start-up. Expected travel time will be 30%.
